Here's the good news: our good friends, Look You Made Productions, have teamed up with Theatre Uncut (who we have previously raved about, a lot, right here) to bring you an evening of rehearsed readings from some chosen playwrights, which include the likes of Neil LaBute and Anders Lustgarten.
Here's the even better, great, breaking news: it's free. Free. Completely, utterly, free. You needn't take a penny with you.
Theatre Uncut was created to get people thinking, talking and
taking action on the events that are happening in the world around them. Their idea is this simple:
"We ask playwrights, whose work inspires us, to write brand new
short plays in response to the current political situation. These scripts are
then made available for anyone to perform anywhere. The Theatre Uncut 2012
plays are available now and can be performed rights free in the week of 12th -
18th November 2012."
What date and time do I need to clear in my diary to make it to this? 7.30pm, Thursday 15th November. Sorry about the short notice.
Where should I go? Hornsey High Street.
