Now that the London 2012 Olympic Games are over, London is
preparing itself for the Paralympic events. The tourists are very
much present and the city is still buzzing!
So, what an appropriate time for
some Shakespeare? In honour of the London 2012 Festival, Mark Rylance has
co-ordinated the event What you will: Pop-up Shakespeare, which will see 50
actors, who have been selected by the Globe, perform as famous Shakespearean
characters all over the City. This exciting event takes place at various venues
from 28th August – 2nd September. For more information,

Regents Park Open Air Theatre have announced the first two
of their 2013 season shows, seeing them embark on a very exciting summer next
year, as this one soon draws to a close. To Kill a Mockingbird opens from 16th
May to 15th June and The Sound of Music, performed for the first
time in open air, opens 25th July to 7th September.
Tickets are available to the public from 20th November 2012.
Also this week, Hampstead Theatre have revealed their exciting shows
for the next few months, and tickets are on sale now from their website.
